Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the properties of the synthesized gadolinium ceriate powder in order to optimize them. The relevance of the research is explained by the fact that the development of science is not provided with materials that meet new requirements. The novelty of the article lies in an integrated approach using advanced modeling tools. The methodology of the work has the structure: synthesis, study by means of electron microscopy, X-ray phase analysis, diffractometry and X-ray spectrometer. Results of the work: it was found that nanocrystalline gadolinium ceriate powder is obtained by mechanochemical treatment for 45 minutes. It is determined that the mechanoactivated powder is agglomerated and characterized by a cubic lattice and a fragmentation shape. The scope of application of the results includes enterprises of metal-mining industries of the national economy, as well as enterprises that extract metals by leaching ores using the phenomenon of mechanochemical activation of metallurgical processes. Conclusions: the detailed properties of mechanochemically activated lanthanide powders can be obtained in the course of research with generalization and graphical interpretation of the results of experiments in a planetary centrifugal mill according to the optimal mode.
