Abstract:
In this work, the effects of pyrolysis temperature and Fe, Fe-Ca, Fe-Ca-Ce catalysts and loadings on the pyrolysis of hawthorn residue as raw material were investigated in a fixed-bed reactor, and the effects of impregnation and co-precipitation methods on the yield of pyrolysis gas were studied. The results showed that the H
2 increased from 10.40 mL/g to 27.64 mL/g when the pyrolysis temperature increased from 500 ℃ to 700 ℃, and the H
2 yield increased from 27.64 mL/g to 46.16 mL/g when the Fe loading was 7 wt.%. The addition of Ca to Fe effectively increased the H
2 yield, and when the Ca loading increased to 2.0 wt.%, the H
2 yield increased to 69.53 mL/g. The preparation of Fe and Fe-Ca catalysts by co-precipitation method was beneficial to reduce the CO
2 yield. However, the H
2 yield decreased from 69.53 mL/g to 50.18 mL/g after the addition of Ce in Fe-Ca.
