计及源荷惯量特征的电力系统最小惯量需求评估

摘要:

新型电力系统弱惯量特性所带来的频率安全问题,本质是系统等效惯量的减少。因此,量化评估新型电力系统最小惯量需求成为亟须解决的工程问题。为此,提出了最小惯量需求评估方法。首先,建立了考虑火电机组、风电机组、异步电机参与调频的多机系统空间频率响应(SFR)模型,并在量化分析系统频率特征的基础上,考虑风电机组、异步电机的虚拟惯量特征,建立了电力系统等效惯量数学模型。接着,以初始频率变化率(RoCoF)、最大频率偏差为频率安全约束,并基于频率响应模型对电力系统最小惯量需求进行评估。最后,在MATLAB/Simulink和PSD/BPA仿真平台上验证了所提方法的有效性。

Evaluation of Minimum Inertia Requirement of Power System Considering Source-Load Inertia Characteristics

Abstract:

The frequency security problem caused by the weak inertia characteristic of the new power system is essentially the decrease of the equivalent inertia. Therefore, the quantitative estimation of the minimum inertia requirement of the new power system has become an urgent engineering problem to be solved. To this end, an evaluation method for the minimum inertia requirement is proposed. Firstly, a spatial frequency response (SFR) model of the multi-machine system is proposed considering thermal power units, wind turbines, and asynchronous machines participating in frequency regulation, and based on the quantitative analysis of the system frequency characteristics, an equivalent inertia mathematical model for power systems is established considering the virtual inertia characteristics of wind turbines and asynchronous motors. Secondly, taking the initial rate of change of frequency (RoCoF) and the maximum frequency deviation as the frequency security constraints, the minimum inertia requirement of power systems is evaluated based on the frequency response model. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified on MATLAB/Simulink and PSD/BPA simulation platforms.
