Research indicates that in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic there was a decrease in number of tuberculosis diagnosis. This reduction has been suggested to have occurred due to social distancing and more constant hygiene routines, such as hand washing and sanitizing, as well as continued use of masks.(,)
