In the study, the research was limited to 100 articles that were analyzed after surveying the Taylor & Francis and Web of Science databases. The selected articles were elicited according to six criteria, including research years, research type, sample, data collection methods, topic and the types of outdoor education approach. As a result of the content analysis, it was determined that majority of studies were conducted in 2016. Additionally, the qualitative method in particular was used in these studies. It was also determined that interviews were used as the data collection method in most of the studies. On the other hand, in the majority of studies, student groups were preferred as the sample groups. It was identified that most studies placed a particular focus on the views on the application of Environmental Outdoor Education in teaching.
