Abstract
This cumulative thesis addresses the subject of thermal energy transport in quantum systems. Based on an exact stochastic description of the system‘s interaction with its environment, a numerically efficient and flexible approach is developed. This approach serves as a platform for the investigation of various aspects of energy transport such as correlations of heat fluxes, the influence of disorder or effects arising from anharmonicities. While the focus of the work lies on the assumption of the system being in the steady-state, a generalization to driven systems is also presented.
