  2. In ihrem einflussreichen Buch „Plans and Situated Action“ diskutiert Lucy Suchman die Verwendung von Plänen. Sie betont, dass Menschen diese typischerweise als Mittel verwenden, um zu handeln, und nicht als Menge von Vorgaben, denen blind zu folgen ist.

  3. Vereinfachend ist hier die Rede vom „australischen System“, wenngleich die meisten beschriebenen Aspekte in ähnlicher Weise auch auf die Universitäten in Neuseeland zutreffen. Gleichermaßen spreche ich vom „deutschen System“, wobei auch hier viele Aspekte auf Universitäten in anderen deutschsprachigen und benachbarten Ländern zutreffen.
