Bóithre an Cheanntair.

Is mó sean- bhótar atá annso ó'n sean- aimsir agus ceann acu iseadh bóthar an Lórd. Sé an fáth go nglaodhadh an t-ainm sin air ná gurb é Lord Ceanntrágha a chuir bóthar ann chun go dtabharfadh sé cabhair des na daoine móin a thabhairt leo.
Bhíodh ana cuid daoine ag obair ar an mbóthar ar padh sgillinge agus deich pinginne agus scilling.

Bhí geata mór ag bun an bhóthair agus aon duine a thugadh thar a ceathair is t-oidhche bhíodh an glas ar an geata roimis agus ní leagfaí isteach é agus chaitfeadh sé dul abhaile le cairt follamh. Bhíodh súas le leath chéad ráileacha
