Fiona Chaâbane Clinical nurse specialist in older people’s mental health for Sussex Partnership NHS Trust

Fiona Chaâbane began nursing in 1980 and has worked in older people’s services since 1986, apart from a short break in the early nineties when she managed night nursing services. As clinical nurse specialist she is the lead for the service and is also the lead for infection control issues in one sector of the trust. She was a finalist in this year’s Nursing Standard Nurse of the Year awards for her work on falls assessment.
