To investigate the effect of formulated fertilization on yield, economic profit, fertilizer contribution rate (FCR) and agronomy efficiency (AE) of different crops at present conditions, field experiments on wheat, maize, rice, rapeseed and apple were conducted at 2256 sites in Shaanxi province from 2007 to 2011. The results indicated that compared with farmers' practice, the yields of wheat, maize, rice, rapeseed and apple were improved by about 653, 908, 703, 341 kg·hm-2 and 3232 kg·hm-2 by formulated fertilization, and the yield increase rates were 13.2%, 13.2%, 8.7%, 15.7% and 12.2%, respectively. The average economic profits were increased by about 1 063, 1 233, 757, 1 086 yuan·hm-2 and 15 841 yuan·hm-2, respectively. The FCRs to wheat, maize, rice, rapeseed and apple by formulated fertilization were 8.1, 8.2, 5.2, 7.1 and 8.3 percentage higher, and AEs were also 1.5, 1.1, 0.5, 0.6 kg·kg-1 and 2.8 kg·kg-1 higher than those by farmers' practice, respectively. The yields of wheat, maize, rice, rapeseed and apple became increased by 742, 1 069, 85, 69 and 2 014 thousand tons, respectively, through formulated fertilization, and the economic profit was totally improved by about 12.8 billion yuan in Shaanxi province. In conclusion, formulated fertilization was one of the important measures to increase agricultural production, and to improve farmers' income and fertilizer use efficiency. |
