Nothorhina punctata is a rare species in the Palearctic fauna. The publication provides information on a new occurrence of this species, which was found in the Sandomierska Lowland in south-eastern Poland. The issues concerning the biology and distribution of N. punctata were also described, with particular emphasis on our country.
