Ecology. Shelf and slope species, found at depths between 44 (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004) and 708 m (Peña Cantero 2014). Gonothecae: January (Peña Cantero 2014).
Distribution. Circum-Antarctic (Peña Cantero 2014). West Antarctica: Off Low Island and off Nelson Island, in the South Shetland Islands (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004). East Antarctica: Off Queen Mary Coast (Peña Cantero 2014).
