Meteorus vexator (Haliday, 1835)

Distribution in Iran. Guilan (Farahani and Talebi 2012; Sedighi and Madjdzadeh 2015).

Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, former Yugoslavia (Yu et al. 2012), France, Russia (Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg 2013; Stigenberg and Shaw 2013), Hungary (Papp 1990b, 2002, 2006; Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg and Shaw 2013), Sweden (Szépligeti 1904; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Yilmaz et al. 2010), UK (Marshall 1887; Szépligeti 1904; Broad and Shaw 2009; Yu et al. 2012; Stigenberg and Shaw 2013).

Host records. Meteorus vexator is recorded as a parasitoid of Biphyllus lunatus (Fabricius) (Coleoptera: Byphyllidae) and Dahlica lichinella (Linnaeus) (Lepidoptera: Psychidae) (Morley 1912; Stigenberg and Ronquist 2011).
