Rouleina attrita
Description
Rouleina attrita (Vaillant, 1888).
Softskin Slickhead. To 51 cm (20.1 in) TL (Parin et al. 2008). Circumglobal in temperate to tropical waters; Sea of Okhotsk, North Pacific Ocean; one record from western Bering Sea over Shirshov Ridge (Mecklenburg et al. 2002); eastern Bering Sea and Washington (44°09.51’N) (Kenaley and Orr 2006); Oregon (44°09.5’N, 125°03’W) (Personal communication: University of Washington, Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture Fish Collection, Seattle, Washington). Depth: 450–2,300 m (1,476 –7,544 ft) (Robertson et al. 2017).
