Description

This article addresses the covid-19 pandemic and the effects portrayed on Brazilian education. Its main goal is to highlight the key impacts on public schools. It specifically aims to reflect on the challenges faced by all players in the educational context, identify the social inequalities aggravated by the crisis of the new coronavirus. The study is justified by the relevance of the historical moment in which we are living, as well as being essential to expand the spaces for discussion on the technological conditions made available in new ways of teaching. Methodologically, it uses Content Analysis. Part of the research was centered on the descriptive qualitative approach, characterized as bibliographical and documentary research. Several articles from scientific journals and legal documents were explored. The results show that teachers, students and families have made great efforts to adapt themselves to remote education, as an emergency, among other demands. This paper concludes that there is a lack of effective public policies and that it is an exercise in resilience to live among Covid-19.
