Description

Genus Anguloscalpellum Zevina, 1978

Arcoscalpellum Hoek, 1907a: 85 (part); Newman & Ross, 1971: 42 (part).

Holoscalpellum Pilsbry, 1907a: 25 (part).

Anguloscalpellum Zevina, 1978: 1349.

Diagnosis. Inframedian latus triangular, as high as rostal latus or higher, umbo apical; carinal latus with significantly protruding umbo in middle of carinal margin.

Type species. Scalpellum angulare Nilsson-Cantell, 1930.

Composition. Six species.

Distribution. Worldwide, except Arctic. Known depth range 128 to 2900 m.
