  • A recent examination by the third author of a newly acquired representative of Cenomanocarcinus Van Straelen, 1936, probably C. aff. beardi Schweitzer, Feldmann, Fam, Hessin, Hetrick, Nyborg & Ross, 2003, from the Cenomanian Woodbine Formation of Texas, now housed at the Oertijdmuseum De Groene Poort (MAB k.2544), confirms the podotreme condition of this genus.
