RECORDED ON THE FALKLAND ISLANDS AS. — Bryum billardierei Schwägr.
NOTESOne of the most common species in temperate regions of the southern hemisphere, found in New Zealand, Tasmania, South America and extending to Macquarie Island in the Subantarctic, but uncommon on the Falkland Islands and absent from South Africa. A south temperate/southern amphipacific temperate species.
