| Abstract | Discusses the enhancement appearing in the extreme backward direction between 400 and 600 MeV/c. A diffractive origin is not excluded, but the angular stability, characteristic energy behaviour and absence of forward slipping afterwards reinforce the probability that it is of a resonant nature.
