Abstract

Recurrent Urinary Retention in a Woman from Perforation of an Ovarian Teratoma into the Urinary Bladder: A Case Report

Urinary retention in the females is a rarity and it is usually due to causes that are uncommon and completely different from the causes of urinary retention in the male counterparts. Recurrent urinary retention in a female caused by a perforating ovarian tumour into the urinary bladder therefore presents an interesting reading. This presentation adds to the reports in the literatures on a very rare cause of recurrent urinary retention in the females.
