Rancang Bangun Aplikasi AIS Backend Untuk Pemantauan Lalu Lintas Kapal di Selat Melaka

Abstract


Selat Melaka merupakan selat tersibuk kedua di dunia, dimana terdapat sekitar 80.000 kapal yang berlalu lalang tiap tahunnya. Sebagai wilayah Indonesia yang berbatasan langsung disisi selatan Selat Melaka, kabupaten Bengkalis memiliki peran penting dalam aktivitas pemantauan dan pengawasan di perairan Selat Melaka. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, maka diperlukan sebuah sistem monitoring yang dapat memantau lalu lintas kapal yang melewati perairan Selat Melaka. Sebagai sebuah sistem yang dapat menangkap sinyal-sinyal kapal yang melintasi selat melaka, Automatic Identification System (AIS) merupakan salah satu solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan aktivitas monitoring lalu lintas kapal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada rancang bangun aplikasi backend realtime monitoring lalu lintas kapal di perairan Selat Melaka berbasis AIS. Aplikasi backend yang dibangun berfungsi sebagai penyedia layanan pemrosesan data dan RESTful API. Performa aplikasi yang dibangun diukur berdasarkan aspek efesiensi penyimpanan data menggunakan algoritma penyaringan data yang telah dirancang. Dimana dengan menerapkan algoritma penyaringan data diperoleh efesiensi penggunaan penyimpanan data pada database sebesar 18.45%.
