RESUME. — On part de l'idée que la prise en compte nécessaire des nouvelles formes de détente, et des infrastructures qui leur sont associées, oblige à élargir la géographie du tourisme à une géographie des loisirs. C'est en prenant appui sur le concept de géographie sociale que s'est développée une géographie des loisirs, tout comme ont été mis en lumière la fonction vitale essentielle que représentent ces loisirs, et le rôle qu'ils jouent dans l'organisation de l'espace social. Il en découle une articulation triple, fondée sur des critères spatio-temporels, en loisirs : dans le voisinage immédiat du domicile, dans le cadre d'un espace de détente proche, dans un espace à grand rayon d'action, des aspects de géographie appliquée concluent cette contribution.

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG. — Zum Standort einer Allgemeinen Géographie des Freizeitverhaltens. — Sie vorliegende Studie geht von der Erkenntnis aus, daB die Fremdenverkehrsgeographie durch die Einbeziehung neu entstandener Freizeit- aktivitaten und -infrastrukturen zu einer Géographie des Freizeitverhaltens erweitert werden muB. Aus dem sozialgeographischen Konzept der « géographie humaine » heraus wird die Position einer Géographie des Freizeitverhaltens entwickelt und die Stellung des Freizeitverhaltens innerhalb der Grunddaseins- funktionen sowie im sozialgeographischen Raumsystem verdeutlicht. Es folgt aus geographischer Sicht eine Dreigliederung nach raumzeitlichen Kriterien in Freizeit- verhalten im Wohnumfeld, im Bereich der Naherholung, im Bereich des langerfristigen Reiseverkehrs. Aspekte der Angewandten Géographie beschliessen den Beitrag.

ABSTRACT. — The shaping of a general geography of leisure. — The starting point is the idea that the necessary consideration of new forms of recreation, and the infrastructures which are associated with them, makes it necessary to extend Geography of tourism to a Geography of leisure. It is in starting with the concept of Social Geography that a Geography of leisure has developed, just as has been highlighted the vital and essential function which these leisure activities represent, and also the role which they play in the organization of social space. There results a triple articulation, based on spatio-temporal criteria, leisure in the immediate vicinity of the home, leisure in the framework of nearby space for recreation and in the space of a large radius of action. The conclusion is devoted to some aspects of applied geography.
