A Corrigendum on
Modeling Circadian Phototransduction: Quantitative Predictions of Psychophysical Data

by Rea, M. S., Nagare, R., and Figueiro, M. G. (2021). Front. Neurosci. 15:615322. doi: 10.3389/fnins.2021.615322

In the original article, there was an error. One of the inherent mathematical assumptions for Equation 3 as published, should be explicitly added to the mathematical formulation. The published terms “Vλ” and “Sλ” therefore have been replaced by “V” and “S” respectively, to convey the implicit normalizations in the corrected equation. The term k has also been defined.

A correction has been made to Equation 3.

CLA2.0=1548{(McλEλdλarod1(VλEλdλVcλEλdλ+g1ScλEλdλ)(1eVλEλdλRodSat)) +(aby(ScλEλdλkVcλEλdλ) arod2(VλEλdλVcλEλdλ+g2ScλEλdλ) (1 eVλEλdλRodSat)),                                                                                                       by>0 (McλEλdλarod1(VλEλdλVcλEλdλ+g1ScλEλdλ)(1eVλEλdλRodSat)),     by0

where,

b-y=ScλEλdλ-kVcλEλdλ

RodSat = 6.50 W m−2

Vcλ=(Vλmpλ)max(Vλmpλ) Scλ= (Sλmpλ)max(Sλmpλ)

The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
