Abstract

The essays makes a short history of FRBR’s impact twenty years after the publication of the model, and introduces the new conceptual model IFLA LRM (Library Reference Model) in its fundamental features and highlights the innovative changes. It presents briefly the structure of the model, the user tasks, the entities, attributes, relationships and the modelling of aggregates.
