In the first song, the performer is acting as a man who has killed one of his fellow. He has changed his voice by placing a little stick in his mouth. He is afraid that the spirit of the dead will be looking for him and eventually obtain his revenge in assassinating the murderer himself. In the second song the singer relates that he has become aware of a plan to kill him. He challenges his opponent to a song contest in order to prevent the plan.
