The increasing number of people in an area, the consumption of energy increases, the increase of regional tourism infrastructure and many other factors in Asian countries urban had widened the modified land cover. Those factors increased the urban heat island phenomenon and widen it into urban areas, suburban areas, and rural areas. This research made use of the occasion of Nyepi Day and the average temperature change caused in 4 local areas in Bali, namely Sanglah, Ngurah Rai, Negara and Kahang. The goal was to measure the ceased of urban heat island phenomena to average temperatures in those areas for 15 days: during the Nyepi event, 7 days before and 7 days after. The study showed that urban heat island phenomena did not affect average temperatures during the days until the nights in the urban to a rural area. Nevertheless, this excludes Ngurah Rai, with an increase of 0.2°C at noon. The result showed that among other urban areas studied, Sanglah was having the highest temperature during the afternoon and Kahang was having the lowest temperature area.
