The Image Gently® Alliance mission is "… through advocacy, to improve safe and effective imaging care of children worldwide" [1-3]. The Image Gently® model [2,3 ] continues to afford the opportunities to enhance the practice of imaging children through partnerships beyond North America. One of the most successful alliances has been with Latin America including close affiliations with LATINSAFE, with enhanced efforts beginning in 2017 through establishment of formal societal relationships, especially in Brazil. 1.Extension of Image Gently® beyond imaging societies following launch of formal partnership with both the Brazilian Pediatric Society and Pediatric Society of Parana
2.Translations of the eight Alliance campaign posters into Portuguese by Brazilian Society of Nuclear Medicine:

The Image Gently® Alliance
·continues to be a successful model globally for informed use of medical imaging in children who benefit from ionizing radiation imaging or its alternatives (MRI/US) through education and advocacy,
·has developed a successful partnership with relevant medical societies in Latin America,
·including Brazil as an especially active lead partner,
·efforts through strong Latin American leadership in 2019 resulted in expanded partnerships with medical societies outside of imaging, such as pediatric and surgical societies,
·recognizes the differences in needs in various parts...
