Abstract

This paper illustrates the effects of acupuncture on synaptic plasticity through three aspects: plasticity of synaptic structures, function and expression of synaptic plasticity-related proteins, and summarizes the relevant mechanisms of acupuncture on synaptic plasticity, aiming to improve the mechanisms of acupuncture on neurological diseases in the field of neuroplasticity, and provide a more accurate, scientific and better basis for clinical treatment.
