Tone Tutorial: the investigator read tone patterns reported in the monograph about tone in Yongning Na (Michaud 2017), which at the time of recording was nearing completion. The consultant was asked to check whether those productions were correct and intelligible way. This was one of several methods for verifying the findings. Thus, this is not phonological elicitation, but a recording of a work session in which the investigator asked the consultant to check whether he realized the tone patterns in a correct and intelligible way. If a pattern was OK, the consultant repeated it. If it was not, she provided a correction. (Part 1 of 3.) This document covers: Table 5.6, Table 5.8, and Table 5.9.
