Learning and research activities of the students

Abstract.
The article deals with modern approaches to the organization of learning and research activities (LRA) of the students taking into account the specific features of medical, pharmaceutical and stomatological faculties. Familiarization with the arrangement of LRA in a number of medical universities, the analysis of existing publications on this problem, as well as the authors’ own experience allowed them to generalize the material available, to draw certain conclusions and give recommendations with respect to the organization and optimization of this direction of work. The article also presents methodological approaches to the use of different forms of the students scientific creative work, such as synopses, individual tasks, conferences on LRA results held at the chairs, course papers, contests and other kinds of LRA, depending on the faculty, chair, year of studies, time period (during practical classes, practical work). Students’ creative original works, aimed at the development of their practical skills, are worth attention. The given article will render assistance to the teaching staff and students in their scientific and practical work.
