Urban railway station has played a major role in a spatial and functional integration concerning the space around station. However, the space of station and its surroundings is quite unsatisfactory for citizens. In the background, there is the fact that the undertaker who builds and managers each facility is different. In this study, 8 stations are selected for questionnaire survey and we attempt to analyze the demand and the satisfactory degree of citizens in the space of station and its surroundings. After that we considered the integrated area that should be maintained with station and station plaza.
