Fallout cesium-137 accumulation in two subpopulations of black-tailed deer (Odocoileus Hemionus Columbianus).
- Univ. of California, Davis, CA (United States)
Uncontrolled nuclear reactions have released a number of radioactive fission products into the atmosphere. This study was undertaken to investigate various parameters influencing the uptake of 197Cs in a wild population of Columbian black-tailed deer at the Hopland Field Station of the University of Calfornia.
