The Effectiveness of Practical Demonstration by Observation For the Production of Non-Traditional Fodder out of Rice Straw from the Farmers Point of Views at Some Villages in Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh Governorates

The research aims at the effectiveness of practical demonstration meetings by observation for the production of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw from the farmers point of views at some villages in Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh governorates through identification of the time and source listening of the farmers responds for the practical demonstration by observation for the production of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw, reasons of their attendance, the easiness of the practices, the efficiency of information related, their participation in applying these practices, their desire in applying these practices in the future and the source of getting raw material for production of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw; identification the source of information for the correct practices of the production of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw; identification of the reasons of incapability of the production of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw, the identification of the  farmers view concerning demonstration practices to their peers in the future; identifying of the benefits of the production of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw from the farmers point views; finally identifying the practices learned through of practical demonstration by observation.
The research was conducted by a simple of the rice farmers at the selected villages in both Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh that amount to 124 respondents; Focus group discussions was applied for collecting the data during November and December 2021.
The main results were as follows:

The majority of farmers in Beheira governorate do not apply the practices of non-traditional fodder out of rice straw, but they were just observers, however the farmer in Kafr El Sheik have applied the intended practices.
The main sources of information for the indented practices were agricultural extension and agricultural cooperative agent.
The reasons for farmers incapability for applying these practices were as follow: ignoring the correct methods of preparing urea solution or the ratio of adding molasses, providing the rice straw as direct fodder to the animal, selling the rice straw as a source of high income to the farmers.
The majority of farmers assure their desire to dissemination what they have gained to their family members and neighbors.
