QUALITY OF SOCIAL LIFE FOR RURAL PEOPLE IN BUSTAN AREA AT BEHEIRA GOVERNORATE

Abstract

The research aimed to determine the quality of social life degree for the respondents in the Bustan area at Beheira Governorate, By determining the level of quality of social life for respondents in general, on each of the following three dimensions: Family Relationships, Social Solidarity, and Moral Values, In addition, Determining the significance of the differences between the averages of these dimensions, As well as determining the significance of the relationship between the studied independent variables and the degree of quality of social life, This research was conducted on a sample of 300 respondents, Equal to 10% of all beneficiaries in Bustan Area villages, They were chosen in a Random Systematic way, based on the Settlement Records in Bustan Area, Data were collected using a prepared personal questioner during June and July 2019. Data were tabulated and analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) The Most Important Results were: - More than three-fifths of the respondents (60.7%) were at the high level of their agreement to Phrases of family relationships dimension. - More than half of the respondents (54.3%) were at the high level of their agreement to Phrases of Social Solidarity dimension. - Half of the respondents (50%) were at the high level of their agreement to Phrases of Moral Values dimension. - The two percentages of the respondents in medium and high levels of the quality of social life in total reached 48.3% and 45.7%, respectively. - There were significant differences at the level of significance 0,01 between the three studied dimensions of quality of social life, the calculated value (F) was 12,772.** - There was a Significant Positive Relationship at the level of significance 0,01 between age, the number of years of residence in the village variables, and the total degree of quality of social life for the respondents, where the values of simple correlation coefficient were 0,302 **, and 0,188 ** respectively. - There was a significant Positive relationship at the level of significance 0.05 between the number of family members variable, and the total degree of quality of social life of the respondents, where the value of the simple correlation coefficient was 0,132 *
