المستخلص

The current research aimed to identify the level of symptoms associated with stuttering disorder in adolescents, and also to know the differences between male and female adolescents in the symptoms associated with stuttering disorder. The research sample consisted of (150) male and female students from public secondary schools in Banha city, aged (16-17) years, with an average age of (16.45) years and a standard deviation of (0.38). the researcher used (5) tools represented in: Wechsler-Bellevue scale - Intelligence scale for Adults and  Adolescents (translated and conducted by Mohamad and Louis Malika, 1996),  estimate the severity of stuttering disorder scale (prepared by: Rilay 1994, translated by Sayed Al-Bahas, 2005), social, economic and cultural level scale (prepared by: Ayman Hassan, 2018), Data and information gathering inventory (prepared by: the researcher), symptoms associated with stuttering disorder scale (prepared by: the researcher),The scale consists of 3 dimensions (the psychological dimension, the physiological dimension, and the behavioral dimension). the results of the research showed a high level of symptoms associated with stuttering disorder among adolescents, and there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and female adolescents on the scale of symptoms associated with stuttering disorder in its dimensions.
