Abstract

This method is focused to design efficient micro strip patch antenna for radio frequency applications at 2.4GHz. Micro strip Patch antennas are inexpensive and small in size. To achieve efficient gain and return Loss characteristics rectangular shape antenna is designed with different dielectric thicknesses and compared. The dielectric materials used are RT- duroid 5880 and RT-duroid 6010 with dielectric constants 2.2 and 10.2 respectively. Various antenna parameters like Radiation pattern, Gain, Return Loss etc are obtained by designing the antenna using ADS software.
