초록

본 논문은 영어권 한국어 학습자가 인지하는 고빈도 문법 오류 항목에 대한 문법 지식과 난이성을 조사하였다. 한국어 오류 분석 연구에서 확인된 고빈도 오류 형태에 기초하여 구성한 질문 항목에 대해 학습자 스스로 인식하는 난이도에 초점을 맞추어 서울 시내 3개 대학에 등록된 중급 한국어 학습자 58명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였다. 분석 결과 학생들의 지식과 이들이 인식하는 난이성 사이에 일반적인 상호관련성이 있지만 일부 불일치성도 있음을 보여주었다. 이들 결과는 고빈도 오류를 발생시키는 모든 항목이 그에 상응하는 난이도가 있는 것이 아니며 오류 빈도가 항상 동일한 난이도를 나타내는 것이 아님을 말해준다. 이와 관련하여 교육 및 심리적 요인을 간단히 논하고 한국어 교육을 위한 일반적인 몇몇 사항을 제안한다.
