ABSTRACT

Adopting the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to handle organization’‘s function is a critical decision for any organization. In fact, implementing the ERP system not only allows to support and automates the business process but also to help the organization to share the knowledge and to improve her innovation process. Meanwhile, deploying the ERP system could be harmful to the innovation process. In fact, instead helping to share and transfer the knowledge, the ERP adoption could block that. It’‘s due to the critical failure factors of the ERP implementation. In this paper, we discuss the adoption of the ERP system and the critical failure factors that could harm the deployment process.
