At its 2004 Statutory Meeting, ICES resolved (C. Res. 2ACFM25) that a Study Group on By-catches of Salmon in Pelagic Fisheries [SGBYSAL] (Chair: Marianne Holm, Norway) will meet at the Institute of Marine Research, Bergen, Norway, 8–11 March 2005 to consider ques-tions posed to ICES by the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organisation (NASCO).
