Title:
Processed multichannel seismic data south of Bermuda, acquired during the R/V Maurice Ewing survey EW0106 (2001)
Abstract:
The FAIM (Far-offset Active-source Imaging of the Mantle) project collected MCS and OBS data south of Bermuda. The purpose was to acquire long-offset MCS and OBS data from crust and mantle created during slow spreading. The scientific goals of this experiment involve inferring oceanic mantle dynamic processes from the seismic structure of the upper mantle. Funded by NSF grants OCE00-02417 and OCE00-2674.
