This thesis discusses office space selection as a decision problem and delivers one suitable approach for decision support in the selection situation. Office space selection is a familiar situation to virtually every company. In addition, the problem has several interesting features; office space selection includes a variety of different criteria, is capital intensive and, finally, usually has long-term effects. Due to these features office space selection is, in our opinion, an interesting field of application for multi-criteria decision support methods. Furthermore, the need for decision support in office space selection is accentuated by the fact that, currently, there are virtually no analytical tools readily available for solving the selection problem.
