An ultrasmall mode volume cantilever-based Fabry-Pérot microcavity

Abstract

A tunable Fabry-Pérot microcavity consisting of a 2.6 µm curvature mirror and 0.4 numerical aperture is fabricated. We study the effect of a nanoparticle on the cavity modes and discuss the coupling of single molecules.
