A self-induced oscillation of a free surface is observed in a tank where a circulating flow exists. Water flows into the thin rectangular tank horizontally and flows out through the outlet at the bottom. The sloshing grows in a certain region of the flow rate and the water level. The sloshing regions are obtained using various tanks different dimensions. The frequency is measured to be the same as the 1st-order eigenvalue of the surface oscillation in the tank.
