High-level synthesis(HLS) is the technique that automatically converts the software. However, the converted hardware does not have well performance and circuit scale if software is described without consideration of the hardware. In this paper, we show a HLS oriented describing method for the template matching function to generate the optimal hardware. In the experoment, we convert the pure software program and the newly created program to rhe hardware, and compare those circuit scale and processing speed. Further, we compare processing speed of hardware processing and software processing. Thereby, we confirm the usefulness of HLS oriented template matching function.
