A series of 2-amino-5-aryl-1, 3, 4-oxadiazoles, 5-alkoxy-3-aryl-1H-1, 2, 4-triazoles, and 3-aryl-⊿²-1, 2, 4-triazolin-5-ones were prepared and their anticoccidial activity was tested. Among them, 5-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)- and 5-(2, 4, 5-trichlorophenyl)-2-amino-1, 3, 4-oxadiazoles, 3-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)- and 3-(2, 4-dichlorophenyl)-5-ethoxy-1H-1, 2, 4-triazoles, and 3-(4-bromophenyl)-, 3-(4-chlorophenyl)-, and 3-(2, 4-dichlorophenyl)-⊿²-1, 2, 4-triazolin-5-ones showed moderate anticoccidial activity.
