ABSTRACT

Time management is preceded by the development of a project management plan, which is an output of project integration management. Time management involves the effective and efficient use of time to facilitate the execution of a project expeditiously. Time management is of utmost importance in project management. This is even more critical for projects, which are subject to rapid changes in technology. Project time management is defined as the set of processes required to accomplish timely completion of the project. A lead is the amount of time by which the start of an activity leads the activity’s predecessor. Lag is the amount of time by which an activity waits after the finish time of the activity’s predecessor. Considering time–cost–quality relationships, the scope axis is often represented by project performance, project quality, or project expectations. The project buffer now is aggregated, and some proportion of the saved time is added to the project.
