GIS data that maintained by the utility enterprise and the governments were compared, and verify the quality of utility enterprise's data. By the results of this study, governments use the private enterprise data, and promote maintaining and spreading GIS data. In the point of view promoting and spreading GIS, the government offices conference concerned GIS suggests the subject “principal use of private GIS data and investigate of quality assessment” as principal one. For promoting mutual utilization of geographic information, the circumstance for evaluating quality of private sector's survey results and using GIS data with proper quality in governments have to be established.
