ABSTRACT
The data base of a corporation represents a vital tool for the success and growth of the enterprise, and its correct use is therefore of utmost importance. This session discusses some fundamental issues in the protection of information in shared data bases which are applicable to the data management systems of any business environment. The results presented are also useful for the implementation of some of the requirements of the Privacy Act of 1974.
