ABSTRACT
Piccolo is a miniature Arduino-compatible open source kit for tinkering with basic CNC output. In this studio, we introduce CNC as a concept, guide users to make their own Piccolo, and create artifacts with it. The participants' creations and suggestions will contribute to the development of Piccolo.

Piccolo: an ultra-lightweight blockcipher
CHES'11: Proceedings of the 13th international conference on Cryptographic hardware and embedded systemsWe propose a new 64-bit blockcipher Piccolo supporting 80 and 128-bit keys. Adopting several novel design and implementation techniques, Piccolo achieves both high security and notably compact implementation in hardware. We show that Piccolo offers a ...
Biclique cryptanalysis of reduced-round piccolo block cipher
ISPEC'12: Proceedings of the 8th international conference on Information Security Practice and ExperiencePiccolo is a lightweight block cipher, with a fixed 64-bit block size and variable key length 80- or 128-bit, which was proposed at CHES 2011. The iterative structure of Piccolo is a variant of Generalized Feistel Network. The transformation utilizing ...
Meet-in-the-Middle Attacks on Reduced Round Piccolo
LightSec 2015: Revised Selected Papers of the 4th International Workshop on Lightweight Cryptography for Security and Privacy - Volume 9542Piccolo is a lightweight block cipher designed by Sony Corporation and published in CHES 2011. It inherits the Generalized Feistel Network GFN structure and operates on a 64-bit state. It has two versions; Piccolo-80 and Piccolo-128 with 80-bit and 128-...
