Abstract
Raman spectra of samples of the Taunit carbon nanomaterial (CNM) annealed at different temperatures are studied. The effect that 3–6-nm Pt-catalyst nanoparticles have on the Raman spectra of the Taunit CNM is studied as well. It is found that Taunit is a poorly organized CNM, but crystalline structure ordering has been observed with an increase in the annealing temperature. It is shown that Pt-catalyst precipitation on the surface of the Taunit CNM leads to an increase in the defect band intensity due to the appearance of some crystal lattice defects.
